| The sub-woofer on Skoda Uk's website has been discontinued! It wouldn't go in the vRS head unit anyway so nevermind. There are upgrades for the speakers but it doesn't say what the standard ones are anyway so how is one supposed to know if there is an upgrade? Also would like to know if anyone has an active sub that was easy to fit and is a nice supplement to the standard sterio, if so how much was it and where from, was it easy to fit. Thanks Alex

| I believe the Skoda one was a rebadged Blaupunkt thing - as available at http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/spkr0_2.asp - think some people have these. Infinity also do a small active sub (think it's called a Basslinx or something), which could be worth a look... Rob. |

| I believe you'd need something like this: http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/sub_out.asp to wire it into the standard head unit...however, I've never run a sub off a Symphony, so couldn't say for sure... Rob. |

It's relatively easy to run a length of wire down the car though... Rob. | |

| I have one of the dealer supplied Blaupunkt subwoofers. It comes with wiring loom and fuse connections ready to slot into the car's fusebox. I haven't got round to fitting it yet but I did connect it to my home stereo and although not too loud it does add a nice warmth to the bass. I reckon that in the confines of the boot it would sound much louder, compared to my lounge! I don't know whether the Bluespot supplied version has the Skoda fusebox terminations so you may have to improvise a bit.
