| picked her up thursday, well chuffed, but got a new lady friend on the go as it were so havnt paid much attention to the car lol but anyway the alarm, what type isit? thatchman? sensors? how long untill its run in as such? and does my ASL work properly as i can get tyre spin out the car?? and no its not turned off lol |

| about the alarm, isit worht upgrading? getting a aftermarket one? clifford? is there one that will work with the old key fob still? or is the factory one good enough? Also, seat protections, someone mentioned scothch guard? what isit and where from? ta |

| Have a read of this mate. http://www.carpages.co.uk/skoda/skod...cho=1047433395 Have to say though - You bought a car without being sure what it had or what it could do Search for the Alarm info it's been covered before. There is some confusion between CAT1 & CAT2.

Page 25 lists remaining models from Mar 00 as being only CAT2 immobilised. No point in getting a "better" alarm unless you're really concerned about theft and want a "better than CAT 1" system.

Anti Slip Reduction or something like that ..... It works by cutting the engine power when the wheels start to spin.. It's not brilliant as you still get a small amount of spin IMHO but it serves it's purpose I suppose.
