Fog Light Lens Broken

D/S/F fog light lens is cracked the bulb still works, is it a complete unit or can the lens itself be replaced?

If it is like the unit on the old standard Fabia, it is a complete new unit. Mine cost me £48.34 - and I didn't even get a new bulb with it!

Check with hella first - i'm sure there may be a part number stamped on it and you can get it cheaper from them?

I have the same trouble with my smart but the replacement is £71.82 no blubs.

as far as i know thats a bumper off job to replace the fog light,
know a chap it happened to recently with a fabia vrs.

No it's not, I've done it to mine. It's easier to take the bumper off, but you don't need to. Either way be prepaerd for cut arms and swearing. search the forums as I think I posted a how not to for someone else who cracked their lens

I've smashed mine too £46.00 plus vat (plus fitting in my case) and I'm getting the dealer to fit it for me!! it might be an easy job but I'm an unlucky bloke when it comes to working on my car!

New fog light £43-80 plus vat Dealer says the bumper has to be removed. I've had a look and I can see no way of getting to the fixing bolt, it is fitted from the top and no way can you get you hand in...But I will stand corrected

If you search, you will find how to do it without taking the bumper off. The dealer would like you to do that as he wants the work.
