Default Forge Dump Valve

Can anyone tell me if it is worth having a Forge dump valve fitted to the VRS or not.
Sounds a good idea, litterally but not sure if it will benefit at all.
will it only benefit after a remap to save the turbo if you have a decat downpipe.
Not sure myself, so thought I would ask...

/\ To summarise, you've already got one; it's called a waste gate. If you want your car to sound like a bus, buy a DV. It will make your car go tshhhhhhhhhhhh when you take your foot off the accelerator, but since a diesel doesn't have a throttle to protect, it won't bring you any benefit whatsoever. Like the strut brace, save your pennies and put them towards your custom remap.

I've got one fitted, I got it for a steal from a fellow member so thought why not give it a go! It sounds cool, but to be honest I have noticed a 'very' slight loss of performance, my car feels not quite as sharp as it did. Noise wise it does sound cool, it's quite a quick tsssh noise not mega loud and chavy. As it's Forge, it fits like a glove, but I may be tempted to sell if I get enough interest, as it's a been there got the t-shirt situation....

Callum,
Why would you want to keep something on the car that has an effect on it's performance ?

Hence why I'm asking if anyone wants to buy it!

TBH the performance difference is very very slight, it may even be my imagination, but as I mentioned I got it cheap and they are £350 new, so I thought what the hell, I can always sell it on and make money, as somebody always wants one, there's enough questions about them!

I'm open to offers, I'm not mega fussed about selling, but if someone offers me a good price then I'll sell! They are £350 new so get bidding!

If you're gonna sell, you'll have to join freedom. It's only £12.

so whats the end result here then, some say YES some say NO. I know it will sound good but I am thinking that is al I will get out of it. But once the car is remapped and with all my other items on it will the DV make a difference then?
