Default Front armrest

Hello! Just wondering if there was/are options available for a front armrest for the Fabia (ala jumbo box for Octavia)?.

does it have a storage compartment and a) easy to fit b) does it get in the way?

Yes there is a storage compartment under the padded bit. OK for sunglasses, phone, handsfree earpiece etc but not big enough for a paperback book (wrong shape).
a) It's dead easy to fit: the two inner rear seat runner bolts are removed and the frame slid into place under the runners.
b) Depends on your seating position and the length of your forearm. I'm small, so the padded surface doesn't come forward far enough to support my elbow when holding onto the wheel. However, if it were any longer, it would make it impossible to reach the handbrake. What you really want is one with a sliding padded rest so you could elbow it out of the way when you needed to reach below it, but it was supportive when cruising. Unfortunately nobody makes one of these for the Fabia, although this one can be swung upwards to get it out of the way.
