We had this with petrol that was put in a diesel passat, lifted the rear bench, opened the fuel pump hatch to gain access to the tank, put a 15mm pipe into the tank, almost to the bottom, then put a hoover at your end and turned the hoover on untill the fluid come out throught your end, take hoover tube away and let contents flow out by itself.

Take the tank unit out and either pump or syphon it out.

Or take the supply pipe off the fuel filter, put 12v to the lift pump and let that pump it out.

There is a special tool but a wide screwdriver and a tapping stick should get it moving.

I may be mistaken, but i thought that with modern diesels, getting rid of the fuel in the tank was the least of your worries, isn't there a good chance that the fuel pump is damaged?
