Default Going to Gtech my VRS

I got myself a Gtech Performance Timer last week so as soon as I get my new tires on i'm going to test the 0-60, 1/4 mile and BHP at the wheel figures as it stands now then i'm going to fit the Dragon Box and try again.

Had a little play with the box on the way home (as i couldn't wait)
Managed to get a 0-60 of 8.4 seconds in the damp
Didn't do a 1/4 mile as it started pissing it down but i'm pretty happy with the 0-60 for the standard car.

Mines an older one but I got it for £20 delivered!
It works on atmosphere iirc
You set it up on the windscreen, it then feels the g's you pull forward.
Your car also has an electronic pulse that can be felt through the cig lighter, the faster you go the faster the pulse etc (like running fast ) so it uses those. You do have to input some stuff like the cars weight etc but a quick google search tells you the kerb weight is 1380kg or something so you just add on a typical passenger weight (advised in the booklet) then go for it!

VERY clever bit of kit, I had one before but sold it when I got skint so always wanted another.

Joel - we could meet up and i'll let you have a go

Apparently it take your 0-60 times and the weight of your car and works it out that way. That what iv just read. Is that right?

Yeah its the 1st thing you do.
You select the Acceleration menu, choose 0-60, enter the weight of the vehicle inc passenger(s), it goes 3...2...1...GO and any time after that you can set off and it times you.
You can do a combined run doing 0-60 then 1/4 mile if you carry on foot to floor.
Once done it cycles through the results on screen.

Sounds good but surely it would come up with different BHP/Torque reading depending on how fast you can get your 0-60 time?
