| Re: Has anyone fitted one of these to an 06 or newer car??? I tried to order a battery cover for my 07 Fabia vRS but the part isn't listed for my car's chassis number. I would be interested if anyone finds a cover that does fit.

Do you mean an actual Skoda one???? They battery cover was changed with the 06 cars. Out went the nice looking all over cover and in came the awful looking replacement that looks like the covers been nicked!!! Not sure whether the older cover could be retro fitted to the newer cars but it'd be a real pain in the.... to do as would need to re-wire the whole lot etc.... I'm wondering if sticky back velcro pads could be used on the underside of one of these covers to hold it in place on top of the battery etc..... Cheers Dave. | |
