I've just finished putting the car back together after putting central locking in my Fabia.

I've got a small black screw left - does anyone know where it goes?

Its the one that put in that is not needed,

if in the future your doors fall off when doing 70 down the motor way, I may be wrong and it could be that screw!!!

Its the one that always cross threads and then falls out, so you've saved yourself a bit of time, well done!

In all fairness you have done very well to limit it to ONE spare I always end up with at least 4 spare parts!!!!

i always thought that wa the point of stripping and rebuilding things to see how many bits you have left. ;o)

I took my HU out the other day, and fangled about with taking some other parts off, and then put it all back together and ended up with 1 screw over, im sure i only took 3 off :/

you will hopefully see an increase in performance. the power to weight ratio is looking good now!

The only black screw I know of in the doors is the one that goes behind the tweeter and secures the door handle to the door. It should be a T25 torx.
