| Hi All The only suspension mods Ive ever done was to fit longer springs to my landrover 90 and stiffer shocks and polybushes to my Discovery. Could someone please explain to me what "Eibachs" and "Coilovers" are, what they do, and how do you fit them. Im not into to modding for looks but will do things to improve handling ie Jabba Rear ARB and 312 brakes. Jules |

| Eibachs are stiffer, shorter, springs. So it should reduce roll and pitching of the car as well as lower the centre of gravity - improving handling and weight shifting. Coilovers replace the spring/shocks combo and do the same but usually allow a height adjustment. These are a lot stiffer than the Eibach springs. Generally the stiffer the spring/shocks the better it'll handle (to a point) but the harsher the ride and skittishness over rough terrain. Do a search, there's a wealth of info on here about both. ![]()

| If your just after a better handling car, first just get the JAbba Rear Anti Roll bar. which is available from jabbasport who are one of the site sponsers. I Think if all you are after is better handling then go for jabba bar, really does help with body roll.

| My main gripe with the suspension is the pitching/diving under acceleration/braking. The ARB does nothing for that unfortunately. But I'm with you in that it makes a huge difference when driving. I'm never taking it off.
