| Re: My fabia's opened its mouth If that's the crash bar you've cut up, how will it affect your insurance. Will they still honor a potential claim, also I wonder if you'd loose a star or two from ncap hehe. That aside it looks great. Good job...

| Re: My fabia's opened its mouth Nice job mate, on attaching the mesh on the inside use a glue gun or evo grip. Blobs round the edge will hold it a treat

It does make sense you were 100% there Dave I wasnt too scared about cutting the crash bar, used the still saw with a steel blade in, in the end ![]() But I was bricking it cutting the bumper, for which i used a staney knife that i kept warming the blade up with the MAP gas gun Has given a nice finish. The only thing I hate now is the Forge lettering. Wish i had ordered without now Which leads on to my next question, can you paint an intercooler without impeading on its performance. I am thinking satin black for the ultimate stealth fitting ![]() ___ john

| Briskodian | Re: My fabia's opened its mouth Looking good think it looks much better on black than silver. Like your idea behind the crash bar, but surely it would be better to remove and replace with a thin solid bar? plus it would look more tidy. |

| Re: My fabia's opened its mouth Yep, a spray on matt finish would be fine I'm sure, just keep it as thin as possible ![]() Love the bumper, and like the idea of the crash bar, but it just doesn't look right imo ![]()

| Briskodian | Re: My fabia's opened its mouth New problem, I am not entirly sure i like the Ripspeed mesh. Its doesnt seem to cover anything up and just looks like the hole is still open. So been looking at cars that have large front grills in the hope to buy one and mod it to fit in the fabias new opening. And I think i have found the perfect candidate. Its my sisters volvo s40 sport. If i buy 2 of the grills and butcher them so they fit together and then fit inside the hole. ![]()

| Re: My fabia's opened its mouth I think the wide mouth does look better on a black car compared to silver as its less obvious What I don't like is when the number plate goes on the side of the bumper, I prefer symmetry ![]()
