Default offset ?

what offset should i be looking for to change my rims ? 35-45 ?

i want rs4 wheels but they are 225/40/17 are they to wide ?

but i have seen a set of dare wheels i also like but my mate said he went to buy a set and they told him they wouldnt fit is this true ?

i seen a fabia with mk1 octy rims so they woudl be 37? 35 would sit a smidge further out and 45 would be further in, id go out on limb n say 35 if thats the way it goes mate? my mrs got the fabia vrs so im peeking at et35s

i need to know for defo what offset a skoda wheel is, because am changing rims to 17 inch.

mate, ive found a set of genuine fabia vrs 16" alloys on ebay and he has list them with a ratio of 45 bud if thats anygood, which would explain why the ones from wheelbase i peeked at were 45 and listed for the fab

heres a handy no for southwest tyres mate 08704285050
they mite not be near you but they are datf huge and would be they guys to ask what fits what, or somewhere like R-tec but i dont av their number on tap
5x100 fitments id say ud b looking for on websites with et45 if what ive been diggin about has found, if they list that then your on a good start , most makes should cover it being the good ol vag fitment, just finalize with a main company b4 part with cash

Why dont you take the 17's off the car and look at the offset? will be stamped on the inner side of the alloy
