Up to you, both been done and both look good. You could try something else VAG if you wanted to be original.

I had a set of these on my Astra and think they would look awesome on the Fabia, still quite a rare wheel.

the RS6 ones look stunning..

Those R32 wheels look the dogs nadgers, not bad price either, but i'd still go for the RS6's.

18's are £1100 for wheels only. (8.5 wide though) thats why they seem to stick out a bit on the Fabia above.

Usually about £400 for a set without tyres brand new from people like wheel base.

Am i wrong in thinking or is that a tyre for a 17" wheel?

looking on wheelbase and it doens't seem the RS6 wheels are avaliable in anythink smaller than 18".

Right i've been offered a deal too good to miss - pristine set of S3 alloys but with 225x45x17 tyres, i know the tyres should be 205x40 or 215x40 but will the 225x45s still run without scraping anywhere (standard suspension VRS)?
i need to let him know tonight, i'll have to swap the wheels over onto the car if i agree so can't change the tyres before i fit them
