Post sdi being traded in

hi all tradeing wifes fabia sdi in for a new citroen c4 sorry for swearing lol
was offered £2700 for car has done 64000 miles clutch starting to go so with cashback and trade in works out at £4200 didnt think it was a bad price for 01 model.not changeing my vrs way to good to change/test drove quite a few cars new seat leon tdi not that impressed, alfa 147 diesel 150hp vrs much quicker and drove better lol, mini diesel very slow, drove citroen the best drive so far just a bit worried with all the electric gizmos on car but it will have 3yrs warranty just after views if any.
must state again i am keeping my vrs nothing can beat it at min for power/drive .tried to get better half to buy a new one but she wanted a change only time will tell if that is right choice keep you posted

c4 coupe vtr 1.6 petrol in icelandic grey

Brave man. I would risk and Alfa / Fiat of a ****roen myself, but they do seem an attractive package. Evo run a VTS version, and they are meant to handle well, so should be better than the Fabia in that respect.

good luck with it.

The C4 coupe is a lovely looking car and at the price you paid it's a bargain.

I'd just be a bit nervous about having to use that warranty though

The warranty is just fine , you won't have any difficulty claiming if you need it.
It's just that some citroens can be a bit unreliable so you might need to use it a lot.

Still my AX never needed anything doing under warranty so they aren't all bad.

I wouldn't worry about going for a 1.6 HDI C4 as it's a cracking engine and is shared with Ford so it should be reliable. 1.6 Petrol might be bad news though. I've never rated the Citroen/Peugeot petrol engines. I'm sure they are better than they used to be though.

They don't really do that, well not the standard ones. It's an expensive option but not worth it. Apparently it's dead easy to scratch the paintwork if you don't take it easy with the joystick controls
