| I think that the rear ones are the same.. as for the 312mm brakes.. hmmm i really dont think its very necessary on a 1.4.. if u have bigger wheels that would be enough.. I have the standard brakes on my 1.4 but with 17" wheels.. the braking is truely awesome and everyone who rides with me gets shocked when i slow down from 140 to 40 or 20 in a very short distance...

| The VRS is a lot heavier and when remapped will go a lot quicker hence the popularity of the 312mm upgrade. You may be better off with a nice set of regular sized slotted and dotted discs and some uprated pads such as greenstuffs or the Ferrodos, I would consider that a much more cost effective upgrade for yourself. |

| You need the complete outer hub housing for the front (no rear mod possible) and its advisable to putnew bearings in them, rather than remove/refit your old bearings. That's it. As the 312mm kit comes with the carriers to bolt on totje hub. For non-vRS Fabias, it just adds another £400 odd to the price (assuming brand new outer hub housings and inner bearings)

| Which i stll think is not really necessary for a 1.4 .. for that money you can go for a better mod

I have a bearing thats just startng rumbling aswell so its an ideal opertunity. I priced black diamond dics and pads for the 1.4 fabia and nearly died 195 quid for discs and 50 quid for pads.. and what magic makes your 1.4 do 140? I eventually plan to put a different engine in mine and then itll do 140 and beyond

| Would a hydraulic bench press do or does it really need the specific tool?

| You really need the propper tool as it supports the bearing correctly and makes sure the outer ring (the silver bit that isnt pushed in) sits properly in the hub.
