| I'm guessing it's directly under where the driver would sit? If so look at my thread about making a Fabia immovable. I suggested removing it, but was told that is a bad idea as its a fuel cooler.

| I maybe wrong but I'm pretty sure its something to do with cooling the diesel that is returned to the tank!? Bit like a heat sink. But I maybe wrong.... Damn beaten to it ![]() Last edited by Potster; 05-04-2005 at 18:14. |

| nah just drivers side i thought it was a heat sink but couldnt think what for as i couldnt see any pipes going anywhere

| ETKA lists a heat dissipator for vehicles with fuel cooling for the ATD engine. It's £116.37 so is best left undamaged. (I don't know if the vRS is fitted with the same fuel cooler).

| It's a carpet tread It's the bit of trim that fits in doorways to finish off the carpet between rooms nice and neat.....I should know I have hundreds of them in the house ![]()
