Thumbs up Wind Deflector & Thanks Devonutopia

Hi,

Just like to thank Devonutopia for offering help I am not very good on these groups so dont always know how to thank folk.

Re wind deflectors I have seen some for sale on Ebay for the front windows in smoked grey plastic that fit under the lip of the sealing rubber. Has anyone used these or similar, do they work and are they easy to fit.

Getting used to driving my 1.4 16v now and it certainly holds the road well over Dartmoor

Cheers

Alan

I'd be interested in hearing about these as well. Quite fancy some for the front windows, but would like to hear about quality, and see how they look first

Have you got a website link to the ones you've seen Alan?

Steve

I've even forgotten what kind of help I offered?

I'm in Newton Abbot later on this evening if you want a vag-com scan doing. Just PM me.

Be careful with these, I once had a set on a vitara and the window winder mech went pop due to the extra stress as the rubbers are tighter at the top of the window opening.

Talking Re: Wind Deflector & Thanks Devonutopia

Jason,

I would have called you but with a 24 year old autistic son we had to call the Plod after an evening of problems - still the nosy neighbours enjoyed it, all came out in their gardens just like snails when it rains

Best if I could come over to you

Cheers

No worries. I'm just outside Dawlish so only 15 minutes or so from you. Quickest way is nip up A380, take the haldon junction and take the road down into Starcross, then I'm about 1 mile toward Dawlish from there.
