Unhappy window regulator

many thanks for the warm welcome but I still am struggling to find a supplier of fabia window regulator repair kits
does anuone know if they are the same as a MK 4 golf??


please help its snowing now and the window is only just jammed up!!!!!!

Have you asked a dealer how much?

I know you said you don't want to use a main dealer but if it bothers you so much then maybe you'll need to bite the bullet.

Alternatively try a scrap yard.

I've just looked and I don't think they are the same as a golf as the part number begins 6Y0 which is Fabia.

I think you might be surprised at the price of the complete part not just a repair kit - I was.

i bought one some time ago for the nearside front - 6Y1837461, it was about £80, that is a complete inner door with regulator assembly attached, there is no repair kit

yes dealer around the £70 mark but I managed to get one on ebay £20 happy days (new)
complained to Skoda aswell and got a standard reply "very sorry but we are unable to help you on this matter"

when I get the regulator changed over I am going to price getting some metal clips made

My Octavia has had 3 go. Costs about £100 fitted at local independent.
