| Hi, on the back of the mirror is a hole to attatch it to the motor (2002 1.9 fabia estate ) via a round headed pin. I have offered this up but the mirror keeps falling back off. Should there be a cover on this pin ( i.e. nylon ) as it appears to have a slot cut in it ( location? ) and if so is it available as a spare? Sorry if this isn't too clear, cheers, Simon. |

| IIRC from when I was trying to sort the heated mirrors on SWMBO's car, there are four connection points - each being sort of spherical with a slot, which go into four circular holes on the back of the mirror that have a bar across the middle to mate up with the slots. You need to make sure that none of the sperical bits are missing and that they're correctly-aligned with the bars on the back of the mirror. The rest is just care and persistence, I'm afraid... |
