You may hear a very very faint beeping noise under some heavy breaking, but thats normal... I hope

With the octy you get a beep if the handbrake has not been released properly when speed reaches about 5mph. Perhaps the furby is the same.

Er, this may seem silly, but have you got an alarm on your watch, or PDA, or mobile phone? Also, I had a tookit in the boot of my car with a metal detector that switched on. It confused me for a while.

Did you skid in anyway while breaking without removing traction control? The car beeps when it's in that situation...then again, even when you remove traction control it does that.

I did that with a walkie talkie I had still in my work coat. It was beeping all theway home and it was bugging me as I could not trace it. I only realised what it was when it went into termial mode and sounded like someone had died in casulty.
