| hi, i have just become the first time owner of a skoda, a 1998 s reg felicia estate, with only 31,000 on the clock, 9 months tax and 9 months mot the car took a bit of cleaning inside and the front seats have a few marks, seat covers will solve that problem. other than this the car is great. what i find strange is that without even putting the key in the ignition the radio and lights and cigarette lighter work, is this normal i a skoda. thanks robert |

| other than that, you will find that the sidelights, brake lights and reverse light will work without the key in too

| Having the cig lighter work without the key can be useful for things like solar panel battery maintainers if you don't use your car for a while. If you really want your stereo to switch off with the ignition you can take a connection from the fusebox of a wire that switches on when the ignition is on, and connect this to the appropriate wire behind the din connector. |
