Smile Felicia lights

Just bought a '99 Felicia GLI D hatchback. Car is lovely but I can't get the lights to work. Brakelights work and I can flash the heads but can't turn them on. Could it be a fuse? (which one? where?) any ideas?

I don't mean to make out you're daft or owt, but as you've just bought the car I'll ask anyway.

Are you aware that there is a sidelight switch next to the headlamp switch which must be switched on first?

Errr no, I was saying that I DON'T want to make you out to look daft. The Felicia lights aren't that obvious if you've not aware how they work

Hello daverapid

It's difficult to tell from Robin Renwick's latest post if that solved his problem or not - I guess it did, as he's not posted back.

Hopefully that means Robin will enjoy his Bank Holiday and I hope you do too Dave

Regards
Mo

best not mention the estelle then

dummy here took three days to work out how to open the boot, and smashed the fuel filler cap off as did not know it screwed off

idiot of that day went to me silly I felt too stupid to go back to the garage and ask "where do you open the boot from please"? sure they would have had a laugh, but rear passenger door pillar is not the first place youi look........ even if you'd spent hours laging in the back looking LOLOL missed it damn. and could have saved cash on the filler cap had i asked too ;'(

I should start a thread about things that catch people out. In fact, I think I will...

Anyone ever drove a renault 19? It took me 1 hour to work out that the lights turned on the stalk!! There was nothing showing this on the stalk or anywhere else.
