| Hey all... an update on Nelly's progress in life... Just got her back from the garage after having her MOT done... cost me £81 but she flew through, just needing new number plate bulb, new indicator bulb and headlights aligning!!! Very happy chappy... there's one thing that i will need doing which they didn't pick up on the MOT suprisingly... a CV boot on the drivers side... probably didn't see it as wheel as just been cleaned and so there wasn't oil everywhere as before. How hard is this to replace? I know it involves removing everything off the end of the drive shaft to slip a new one on, or is it that the drive shaft must be removed? How much should a garage charge me (in hours as i know all garages charge different labour amounts)? |

| i didnt take the shafts out when i did mine. i used some blocks to hold the shaft up. it is best to use proper parts, the generic ones don't fit!! |
