| Its a cracking little car. Picked it up last week for £700 with 8 months MOT and 6 months tax on it. You may be able to make out the heated seat and window controls by the gear stick (lovely and warm). the camera flash has also made the multitonal paint visible, blue/purple/green (although u cant see the green in the picture). Thanks for looking and ur comments. |

| I didnt know they did a Favorit version either. Well, this is on an N, with 60500 on the clock. Just found it through auto trader, so went down to see it and got it that day. I love it, is a cracking car, theres just a few little things with it, i.e. temperature guage and rev counter not working. Still trying to find out whether its the dials themselves that are broken or sensors/wiring. Does anyone know if i would be able to change jus those two things on the dash, or would i need a whole new unit? Thanks |

| Wil hav to get my haynes out, take everything off, and have a look at the clocks and see. The temperature sensor seems to work fine, because if i unplug it with the engine running, the revs drop, then pick up again when i plug it back in, which indicates that when its unplugged the ecu is falling back to default settings or something, rather using info about the engine temp. Thanks for your help p.s. Just looked on ebay, and found a rev counter for my car, its just the counter on its own, nothing else, so you obviously can seperate them out. Also found out that it could also be the voltage regulator that is built into the clocks, as this supplies both the temperature guage and the rev counter. If it was, I tried to buy that one. Phoned the guy and he said somebody was already there looking at it. He phoned me back 10 mins later to say it was snapped up. Apparently it was mint apart from a little rust on one of the rear wheel arches. Oh well . . .

| No it wasnt that one. Was a guy who ran a van rental and furniture shop down in burnley and had taken it as part-ex. Only two previous owners, last one being an elderly gentleman who only clocked up 9,000 in the 7 years he owned it. lol Is in mint condition apart from a small bit of rust on the bottom sill, by the front wheel (bottom of the wheel arch), and a scratch on the front wing. But apart from that, is on fab condition. Feel ive got a real bargain. Still desperately trying to sort this rev counter and temperature guage problem out. Thanks for looking. |

Sorry, but I was on about the estate L&K on eBay that tefal1 mentioned . . . Will agree though that yours is SWEET. I was gutted when that estate went.

| [quote=BiGRUD;827782]Was that the one where the guy said he has 6 cars and he was selling it because his wife wouldn't drive it because of the Skoda badge? Yeah it was a good looking estate version, apparently they only made 200 l&k models 100 hatches 100 estates so bound to be as rare as hens teeth now! wonder how many are still on the road today? |

| I actually sat in the one at the British Motorshow in the year it was released , it was way out of my price range though , IIRC around £9 or £10K? They will be very very rare cars now I suspect , I bet it would get a lot of attention at a Skoda club show!
