Default Papershop Syndrome

Still get this occasionally, where (from damp/cold) you go up the road for half a mile and the engine cuts out if you have to stop, then wont start again for a couple of minutes. It's a bummer at my local traffic lights.
Has any one found a reason/cure for this?

Do you drive off straighaway after you start her or warm her up for a few minutes? This happens me now and again if i haven't warmed the engine up for a minute or two.
