| Or just a broken one? My car now when starting sounds like a small beast from the depths of hell is screeching. Only started doing this last night, and unfortunatley I had to take it to work today. It does start the car, however the starter sounds very unhealthy. Hopefully this is not related, but since last night I have also noticed a knocking noise, when going over bumps, rough ground, or even just when driving along at a constant speed. Quickly checked the suspension, and that seems to be fine, and the knocking sound like it is coming from underneath/next to my left foot. Sods law to happen just 2 months after the MOT Thanks in advance!

| Possibly damage to the teeth on the starter ring if it's not just a starter motor problem. |
