| Hi all, Just bought myself a '99 'T' plate Felicia with only 28k miles on the clock. I was wondering what essential mods need to be done to get the car any better. I only use it for running to and from work and a few bits and bobs at the weekend. I noticed that the body roll is fairly significant on the test drive. I see that some companies do spring kits that drop the ride by 35mm and stiffen it up (fnar, fnar), but if I drop by 35mm will the dampers need to be shrotened? Also looking at fitting lower profile rubber - any suggestions on wheels? Ta Simon |

| First of al, Welcome to Briskoda- these lads and lassies will help ya out. re the handling- it hads flat door handles for a reason Pinkskud has his 1.6i dropped on 35mm springs and standard dampers (I think) also, do a search for "Butts of Bawtry"-their Felicia catalogue is a wallet emptier. Re the wheels- I have no iddea on offset etc, but I do know the PCD is 4x100mm |

Its a slippery slope "My" felicia is actually my brothers, but I do all the work on it- he's yet to see the temptations of the Butts catalogue otherwise I'd never be finished with the spanner monkeying ![]() | |

| the offset depends on the width, but iirc for a 6" wide wheel it should be et43 offset

| I would persoanlly change the dampers anyhow, saves the spring platforms busting off and the whole lot collapsing which isnt unheard of.

| - whether or not it's an issue depends on the free length of the shortened springs. |

| i'm running a 35mm drop on standard dampers, but only as an interim, till i can get some hp's. a 22mm anti roll bar off a vw caddy is a good mod to. |
