| Just removed the immobiliser on my favorit. I rewired it so it uses my alarm's immobiliser instead of the key one. My worry is that.... on the back of the ignition switch for terminal 50 there are two, one upper and one lower. When I connected the ignition wire to the top one, then connected the battery, the starter motor started cranking (luckily I thought to knock the car out of gear before connecting the battery). I am almost certain the previous wire was in the top one. However I have now put the wire in the bottom terminal and the problem seems to have disappeared, I can still hear a slight sound when I reconnect the negative battery terminal that I haven't noticed before (but probably psychological). Just worried that the starter motor may engage when not desired which probably wouldn't be fun, or if not that possible battery drain. Is there any difference between the upper and lower 50 terminal? Am I likely to have any further problems? Thanks in advance. Edit. Just noticed on the upper one there is a letter "P" so they are two separate terminals. So connected it to the wrong terminal, silly me.

| Yep, apart from connecting to the wrong bit on ignition switch, all seems to be going as it did before minus immobiliser |
