Need to register. Are they good, or old Skoda stereotypes? There's a moderation queue to be added so I might not be seeing I said I was in Leeds which isn't south

basically i had comments like "stop being polite you bunch of freaks... yes its a first car, but its a f*cking skoda!

You could put solid diamond wheels on it, with a naked lady chained to each of them, and it would still be a pile of sh*t.

Drive it for a year, get some no claims, sell it, buy a real car. Stop wasting money on it.

The phrase 'you cant polish a turd' doesnt even come close to being suitable for this situation, but I cant think of anything more suited.
and yes I know more modern skoda's are ok, but that one is one facelift away from being one of the original skoda's... its a f*cking felicia... my grandad had one, and he's dead. Nuff said.woooooo.... you go girl...

sorry... I just dont get it, and I dont think most people will... they're saying 'actually thats quite nice, I'd never thought of modding a skoda blah blah'... but really they're thinking 'what the f*ck, its a f*cking skoda!'...

But since you ask so nicely... its not to my taste but if you like it thats all that matters.

What does glxi stand for? Does it have windows that open, a heater and a cigarette lighter?

Or did the czechs just throw some letters at it to try and make it sound good? (I wanted to say special... but thats was just too easy)Anyway, credit is due for trying to be different, at least its not a corsa... make it something special and I'll eat my words... but realistically I can see that being a meal I never sit down to."

Oh well, I wonder what "special" cars they all drive. Probably corsa's, saxo's, nova's, fiesta's - and the like - none of them particularly better or more exciting than a Skoda felicia IMO.

Don't be too downhearted - do what feels right. There's plenty of videos on youtube with modded Felicia's (mostly in Czechoslovakia)

They're just trying to justify their crap cars cause they can't afford a Porsche

I used to be on SSS before I joined Briskoda. I wouldn't lose any sleep on what they say. It is just a local cruise forum that thinks a corsa with a banging sterio and some naff exhaust is great. If you like your car then why care what they all say?

At the end of the day you wouldn't have got those comments if it was a polo.

Oh and if you ever speak to the clubs owner (leeroy) he owes me £250.

if it's any comfort to you, his place of work in Paignton burned to the ground (pretty much) a few days ago. How does he owe you money as he added me to MSN a little while ago. I could drop some hints if needed.

His place of work burned down? I thought he was at a BMW dealers or something. If he has added you on MSN then please do drop some subtle hints as he has blocked me on MSN

Been nearly 2 years, so I don't really think there is much chance of getting it back.

PM me some details for me.

Yes, it was the BMW garage in Paignton. Lots of damage done to some showroom cars including a brand new M3.

Glad I'm not the only one to lend someone that sort of amount of money and never get it back. Never ever ever again! Learnt my lesson

Hope you get it back, but I doubt you will unfortunately. I'm guessing he owes other people money too and you're probably bottom of the list to be paid back.

Do you want to mention the £250, or shall I?

Tell your brother and see what he says and if he fancies mentioning it. I don't actually know leeroy at all - never met the bloke. I'll certainly ask if he doesn't fancy it.

...When ignorant fools like that put your Skoda down just tell them about a certain car maker holding 5000 trophies in thier cabinet - the most any car maker has ever recieved for winning track/rally events.

If that doesnt shut them up then they really are a waste of DNA and a parasite on the gene pool that is the UK. In short, stay clear of such types and just look to Briskoda and the Skoda owners club for like minded individuals, not those rotten peasant scum.

Ooo errr! Anyone who does feel like mentioning it is welcome. I did give up hope of getting it back a while ago. If you don't mind, could Jason have a go at mentioning it first (if he doesn't mind) For one thing I know Jason and I feel I can ask a favour () and for another it seems a bit OTT for another member of his club site to ask about it.

Jason, I know you are not on MSN that often, how much is lee online?
