Default Throttle cable adjustment

Hello

I had a look to see if I could take a bit of the slack out of the throttle cable but it looks like there is something missing of the adjuster either a nut or some kind of C clip has anyone else had this problem or do you know what I could use thanks

There should be a rubber o ring and a horse shoe shaped clip on there to locate the outer cable.

I suppose a cable tie would suffice.

Had the same problem - missing clip. Local skoda garrage gave me a selection of C clips one of which was a perfect fit. Should be fairly easy to get some of these, either from Skoda or a model shop for example.

I used a cable tie temporarily when the C clip went missing on my car. Incidentally, the throttle needed readapting by the dealer after the clip was replaced. It was obvious that this needed doing as the car wouldn't idle properly and the revs were fluctuating when driving too.
