| I've been testing a new valve from Forge, called the Eliminator. Its basically an uprated diaphragm type recirculating DV that uses an stronger LT Polymer (or, polyaryletherketone polymer as its called in some circles) diaphragm, to hold boost. Heres a link to the review: http://www.uk-mkivs.net/blogs/uk-mki...09/388908.aspx Theres also a link at the start of the article to the prototype review I did. Release date is planned for December - just in time for Chrimbo folks! Should fit nicely into those stockings ![]() |

| Didn't GaryM have the Forge Optimus which was also a diaphragm type dv? Wonder if this is the same but renamed?

| It's a new piece of kit with an uprated diaphragm. Similar in design to the Optimus in how it works though. I've been using this one for the last week now and its responding extremely well |

| Just to resurrect this thread... After taking advice elsewhere I'm getting one of these tomorrow. Hopefully it will do away with the problems I've been having with piston DVs.

| OK so I’m now all Eliminator’d up! Awesome were nearest to me with stock so off I went. After fitting response does seem to be a bit quicker but I’m not sure if I’m imagining that. The main thing is that I don’t have to worry about aluminium filings anymore. If you didn’t already know, the Forge Eliminator comes with two additional springs and shims. Taking on board the advice of the chaps at Awesome and GaryM it does appear that the stock spring is more than suitable. I’ve got a run up to Edinburgh tomorrow so if my opinion on that changes I’ll let you know.
