| Forge "Twintercooler " for the Skoda 2.0 L FSIT Another Twintercooler is added to the range for owners of the Skoda Octavia 2.0 FSiT. With the same remarkable performance as seen with the previous Twintercoolers on the Golf its sure to be a winner
For the new 2.0 L FSIT engines there is one sure way to improve on the charge air cooling by using the Forge "TWINtercooler" this ground breaking innovation features our unique twin-core design which has added greater efficiency throughout the entire RPM band beyond that of a single core setup, We have achieved this by using the latest core technology with high flow end tank designs to achieve a huge reduction in inlet temperatures.
We spent many months testing various designs and the Twintercooler design emerged as the clear winner. This is a bolt-on kit that retains the use of the OEM intercooler to produce both horsepower AND torque, but more importantly, a HUGE reduction in inlet temperatures and increased flow efficiency.
A reduction in temps of up to a peak of 20 degrees Fahrenheit from 102 to 82 at 6600 RPM!
A Special BRISKODA price is availible on request by email to info@forgemotorsport.co.uk please mention product promotion code "Brisk Twin "when contacting us

Car: Fabia (100) | Re: Forge "Twintercooler " for the Skoda 2.0 L FSIT @Basil - unlikely as there is no room for it on the side that has the water bottle, plus they (Forge) already do a FMIC for the Fabia which (IMHO) is great

Car: BlackMagic Roomster (c 140bhp) | Re: Forge "Twintercooler " for the Skoda 2.0 L FSIT Is there a noticeable difference Dan.
I looked at Forge's graphs etc and it looks impressive on the mk5 gti and they do make quality products.

Car: Black New Leon (385) | Re: Forge "Twintercooler " for the Skoda 2.0 L FSIT sorry mate I couldnt tell you the difference
1. becuase i never notice these things im afraid
2. I got the twintercooler the same time as I got my DV fixed so it was a big jump in performance anyhow
But ive obtained supposidly 287bhp on a rolling road with Revo 2, milltek and P-flo. TBC at another RR soon.

| Re: Forge "Twintercooler " for the Skoda 2.0 L FSIT just a quick question , would there be any benefit in actually painting/spraying the intercooler black ? wouldn't it dissapate the heat more or does it not work like that ?
also IMHO if it was black it would be a bit more stealthy

Car: Black New Leon (385) | Re: Forge "Twintercooler " for the Skoda 2.0 L FSIT i think that would harm the heat dissapation. I think the only way to colour it is to galvanise it.

| Re: Forge "Twintercooler " for the Skoda 2.0 L FSIT We often do paint the intercoolers for customers who wish to have the " stealthy" look , I do not think it has an adverse effect either way on heat retension or dissipation , If you would like a black intercooler then it can be done Quote:

Car: Silver vRS (218 BHP + 349 lbs/ft) | Re: Forge "Twintercooler " for the Skoda 2.0 L FSIT That looks great. I must start saving, i'd like one of those. I hear that the differance on a mapped Octavia is incredible, with it holding more boost for longer. That test wasn't scientific by the way, as the owner of said car doesnt "do" vag com" etc, but his "bum dyno" felt a huge change in performance, with much stronger pull higher up the rev range. Relentless pull actually. Wouldn't mind seeing it against an uncooled mapped Octavia to be honest.
Looks good too. Silver Octavia's are so nice
