Default Forge VAG diesel dump valve/BOV

We have just finished the development of the Forge diesel dump valve / Blow off valve for the VAG cars .

As this modification is about creating the exciting whooshing sound of the dump valves usually fitted to petrol turbo cars , we set out to create a valve that would work correctly every time, and engineeer a product that functioned properly whilst not spoiling the performance of the car or effecting the driveability .

We are now confident that we have achieved this , The Forge kit is designed to interface with the cars ECU in a totally safe way , with the renouned quality of the Forge dump valve and the engineered custom silicone hoses supplied in the fitting kit we have product that work and functions every time .

We are working hard to add new models and fitting kits weekly

It does, however look like a well engineering kit. I'm sure it will be very popular.

All down to taste I guess

There are no performance gains in this mod , the product is manufactured with the intention of supplying a demand for a well engineered product that works correctly everytime .

Is it possible to buy the "black box only"??

since i allready have a BOV on my diesel but is not satisfied that i have to take my foot all away from the throttle to make it let the pressure out....!!

and it seems my kit contains exactly the same as this the solenoid is just operated by a switch on the throttle intead of this box, which i understand works even if u lift ur foot just a little bit??

Sorry its full kit only as the parts supplied are designed to work with other parts in the kit (ie the circuit board electrics are specifically set to operate the solenoid valve that is also supplied in the kit). We cannot gaurentee the safety of the product if it is mismatched with other products. We have to stick to strict guidelines on this product as it is directly linked (electrically) to your throttle operation hence we cannot take the risk in splitting the kits.
I hope this makes sence?

Thanks,

Richard.

Aha, this kit has been just highlighted on a more local SW car forum I'm a member of... Didn't realise there was a thread on here from June...

Thanks but no thanks. If I really wanted a TIISSSSHH noise I'd have done a 1.8T conversion. I'll save my £235 toward hi-flow injectors.

I went it in a Bora with one fitted today - a good reason to have the windows down even today but not for my stealthy oil burning Skoda I'm afraid

I was quoted
70 pound (plus vat) for the fitting kit
199 pound (plus vat) for the dump valve & black box.
Sub Total 269 (plus vat)
Fitting 88 pound (plus vat)
Total 357 Pound (plus vat)
Total with VAT 419.48.

But i was also told in the e-mail with being a briskoda member we can get 10% off so the real total is 377.53 with vat and discount.

Hopes this helps
(the quote also maybe old its a good few months old, i didnt end up getting it done due to my car insureance being k*obs)
