| To be fair to Ross all the prices are in the first post with the exception of fitting. If you are buying a kit then getting a local garage to fit it depending on labor rates and the garage I could easily imagine it fluctating between regions by 50% so a fitting quote while an indication could easily be quite a way off. |

| Not to be funny ask Forge. They are the people that make the kits and would be able to tell you and if it doesnt cope they could advise you some other pipes etc. I was going to ask the same question but insureance wouldnt let me have one!! One thing id like to know i was told by god knows who that the dump valve releasing all of the pressure would make it slower in spooling back up making the car feel slower is this true (ie does this have any performance LOSS or increase I believe it wont but??? Also if anyone has one fitted to the 1.9tdi/pdtdi id love to hear the sound of it.

| It shouldn't impact on performance at all - the reason for the cost is the quality of components used, plus I'm guessing as referred to by Forge already, strict rules need to be followed to make it a safe addition to the car. If the Forge FMIC for the Fabia vRS is something to go by with regards the quality of materials & fit, it will be an excellent bit of kit if you wanted a DDV/BOV ![]()

| @gtjunior - if it's what you want to do, just do it. After all it's your car. I've personally spent my cash on handling/performance improvements but it's your money @vrsrichard - I'd go for rear ARB as there is a GB ongoing for that at the moment IIRC, and it makes a great difference. Rest of suspension next, maybe? Brakes-wise you pretty much can't go wrong with 'golfturbo', hard to beat for pricing ![]()

| WW_VRS - thanks for tips. after the AMD one click is here, i will put my van aken smartbox on here for sale. when that sells i think maybe coilovers will be my next buy before the ARB, which im sorry about the the GB people. but then again, if i feel the brakes arent good enough with the remap i might upgrade them next. the standard brakes are good, but only at certain times e.g the other day i was on a 60 mph road and talking to my girlfriend whilst driving and as we were going around a corner there was a car stationary waiting to turn right and my girlfriend shouted STOP!!!!! so i stamped on the brakes and they were f*****g good, stopped dead, but other times like when coming off a slip road fast they are a bit crap. |

| The brakes are a weird one - I uprated mine in the end but I still think a lot of it is due to lack of feel combined with the nose dive - with coilovers or Eibachs you'd get rid of a lot of that, but I must admit the 312mm brakes are very nice ![]()
