| the duratorque is a rebadged PSA 1.6hdi they tune ok but like most small diesels tend to be hard on transmissions.

| engine is generally ok , some oil leak issues , turbos can go if oil changes neglected, water pumps can leak , EGR valves stick it will be less stressed in the Fiesta bodyshell , so should give less trouble than say a focus/Volvo S40

| Done 5,000 miles since new in my Zetec 5dr 1.6 TDCI and Im very happy with it. Standard its pretty nippy but over the last 1000 miles the remap has proved a very good investment! ![]() MPG is superb - 440 miles is the worst from a tank - thats 100% town driving! Expect 60mpg on a long motorway run. ![]() Lee

VF short shifter. 345mm Brakes. 280BHP & 330LB/FT - enough room for a proper trip to B&Q and 36mpg on a run!!! |
