Me too. Just lacks the power & torque of what I've been used to. But that's soon to be rectified!

Nope.

It's wife's car, but with the arrival of the little one, the Leon is now becoming the wife's mode of transportation.
There is no way on this earth that the pram's chassis will fit in the boot of the Mini!

5 doors & a bigger boot is a lot more conveinient.
The Parabols are coming off & standard alloys are being putting back on.
Not that I don't trust her of course!

Ordered a Superchips Bluefin yesterday for the Mini & it had already arrived today at work before I did (8.30am)!!

This should see the power go from 90bhp to 123bhp (A little over standard Cooper power).

Wouldn't it have been easier to get the Mrs something like a Focus sized hatch which can fit the pram no problem which allows you to still enjoy the modded Seat?

Yes. You're absolutely right, but the other 'arf wants to keep her Mini.

I still get to drive the Leon on weekends.

Oh, that makes sense if you already had the car in the household.

I saw you the other day turning left towards the road that goes to Brass Castle, the car was looking great with those alloys and it was clean!

The Mini's handle really well - feels like a go-cart compared with the Fabia & Leon I've been driving.

I installed the Bluefin on Friday & had test drive. TBH, I was a little disappointed at first but I was still in "diesel mode"!!
I held onto the revs & took it past 5Krpm. There's now a big difference. It used to "hit a wall" after 4.5-5Krpm, but now it comes alive & is happy to hit the limiter very quickly!!

Does take some time to get out of "diesel" mode.

I'm still changing up around 4.5k revs when driving rapidly and only get to the red line when I censoriously make the effort!

I'll look out for your Mini One (Colour?)
