Default Worst place for scrapes..

Some article in the birmingham post said this:

"Drivers who "scrape and run" after going into a parked vehicle are costing motorists an estimated pounds 1.25 billion in repair bills a year, it was revealed today. About 20 per cent of all reported road incidents involve damage to parked cars, a survey by accident management company Accident Exchange found.
Each year, around 700,000 drivers shunt, scrape or hit a parked car, with 80 per cent of incidents being on the street and the rest in car parks, the survey showed. Of 25 cities monitored, London was the worst for parked-car incidents, followed by Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and Norwich. The cost of repairs for each incident is around pounds 1,800, with London accounting for nearly 10 per cent of cases."

Great. Norwich is 5th. I'm moving. Ironic it's the home of the UK largest insurer!

yes ive had this with a rover 200 when someone dinged the nsr corner of the bumper and have a nice dint that can be seen quite well when the car is clean in the nsf door which i know was a 4x4. ive been sat in the car before now when people have got out and swung their doors into the car with me in it and not even bothered to check what they have done or say sorry.

If people swing their doors into me when I'm around, their car/4x4 always ends up worse off

When I was in Bolton the other month at the petrol station, I was in the front place and the bloke behind me finished before I did. He clipped the bumper of my Octy seemingly quite hard (made a heck of a noise) in his battered old Corolla taxi. I was fuming (although couldn't do much as he sped off and I was mid flow . . . fueling the car I mean of course) but I noted down the number plate. Checked and somehow there wasn't a scratch on the car, despite me clearly seeing it rock as he clipped it!

I have had this back in 2002 it was I think
There I was sat in my Astra Hilton Pk services.
Without sounding too racist. A car of black people pull up alongside and I hear a thud and another as this woman is trying to open her door.

Luckily it didnt do any serious damage. Left a red mark on the wing or door though.
