| I strongly suspect the brand new dampers might ease up over time. They're all new and have been sat around for almost a year, so could be a bit stiff. The orange clip thing is something I didn't foresee, but at least is an easy job. Hopefully, with a few ups and downs of the lifter, the gap will gradually reduce. ![]()

| With enough notice I can bring a lifter kit to the BBQ meet - supplied and fitted by me for £45 all in (for metallic finish) or £42 for matt.

| Thing is - you can get aftermarket kits from the Far East for about 10 pence nowadays. The octy has the fittings in place for them, whereas the fabia has nothing which is why this bracket is required to create a place for them The lifting thing is a little quirk. WIth the clip removed it should be minimal. I expect it's the strength of the lifter strut which is doing it, so as the strut weakens over time I expect the lifting effect to subside. I might investigate whether other struts will have the same effect, without being so tough. You need a tough strut to cope with the weight of the bonnet, which is why the furby boot strut is an ideal candidate. Scott - good to hear you got it. Let me know about any raising - pics too if possible - ensure that the orange clip has been removed from the bonnet too. ![]() I still have three people who have not paid yet. Have two shiney silver brackets and one black one waiting to go. Don't hesitate to add yourself to the buy if anyone fancies one.

| ![]() Due to not having payment for two of the brackets I have immediately available a matt silver £45, and a metallic silver £48 bracket - with all the rest of the gear. ![]() Of course other colours can be made up as and when.

| ![]() I now have a metallic silver one spare after a mix-up on colours. It's ready and packed to go should anyone want it. ![]() Only have 1 person left to pay and I've made them aware of this. ![]() Don't forget this is an ongoing offer, and not a group buy as such. Think of it more like a shop. ![]() Any feedback from those who've had one for some time now is welcome.

| I've slapped one on Ebay yesterday with a 1p start. Will let you guys find it. My attempt at trying to find a more natural price for it, although the company who makes it are very inflexible when it comes to the price, I've done this to see where demand might be more - Not been all that popular at the price so far which has surprised me given the one-off nature of the product.

| I've seen photos of a mk4 beezer in the same area as this kit fits, and it looked totally different. i have not ye been able to actually attempt to get a bracket on one in the flesh though. I understand the beezer bonnet also doesn't have the same L shaped bit the strut sits in on the bonnet.

| These have started going on Ebay at 1p starts now - The first attempt funnily enough went for just over the same price as the buy on here, only there was more P&P which still means going through me on Briskoda is the cheapest place to get one of these.
