NEW Opie Oils website & Members account instructions!

Hi everyone,

We’ve FINALLY launched the new Opie Oils website! There has been an incredible response with over 2000 visits on our first day (before we even announced it!).

The best feature is the NEW ‘Find the Right Car / Bike Product’ tool which finds the right engine oil, gear oil, spark plug, brake kit and other parts to match your standard car or bike.

Other interesting sections are, a dedicated motorbike area, Sponsored Cars and the Street Gallery where our customers can showcase their vehicles when branded with an Opie Oils sticker pack. (available FREE with any purchase online).

If you were a registered user on our old website, Your account details have been changed!

Your username is now your email address and your password has been reset and needs updating using the one-use-only password that was sent to you via email on Thursday 17th December 2007.

If you had a Members account on our old website and didn’t manage to receive your email with your new details please;

1) Go to https://www.opieoils.co.uk/signin.aspx
2) Submit your email address using the FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD box
3) Sign in again and change it to something you remember for next time.

Website a bit better, but in the Fuchs product list, the volume of each can type is not stated - some are 4l and some 5l.

Not all of the Fuchs "PD" oils (if only VAG had called them that) have the VAG approval specification numbers.

Ordinary semi-synth Fuchs 10W-40 to ACEA B4 is cheaper in my local farm supplies shop. Any chance of a price cut, then I can order the oil for both of my vehicles.

Oilman , help i can not find a oil kit for the Octu tdi 130 bhp ASZ engine , can you recomend which one it is on the website . Thanks

The most common spec now is the VW507.00 and these tend to be 5w-30.

Have a look Fuchs Titan GT1 and the CastroL Edge 5w-30.
