| Right chaps. Just testing the water here. I'm looking at buying a sim seat at some point in the near future. Purely because having a decent wheel and a nice screen just cannot be used unless it's all clamped down and you're sitting nice and comfortably. After doing some research, I've decided to go for a Rinoseat - Personal Simulation Cockpit A very long thread is here: Rinoseat Revolution - G25 Edition - General Promotion - RaceSimCentral Forums complete with pics and other people's input. It may look a bit light and not very solid, but reading up on a lot of forums showed that it's in fact very sturdy, well built and immensly comfortable. After all, you're going to be spending more time sitting in it than looking at it ![]() Big plus points for me:
I've been in touch with Renato, the guy who runs the business, and a one-off would be €199 for the seat + €50 shipping = €249 total. I'm enquiring as to whether if we were to buy several, we could get discounted cost for the seat and cheaper shipping. If you have any thoughts on this, please do post There's no minimum people to be in this, but I suppose that the more there are, the cheaper the cost will be. It must also be stated that the buy is not an offical BRISKODA orgainsed buy and therefore BRISKODA, CANNOT be held responsible for any wrong doing that may occur.

| Sorry Xav, I can't afford £200 just now, I'd have to wait a few months I'm afraid. ![]() |

| Sorry to hear that, Roy ![]() Would you get one if it was cheaper, say £100-150 or would you get one later once funds allow? Just trying to gauge it ![]()

| OK, had an answer: Rinoseat G25 ... 2 seats and shipment to same address ---------------------------------------------------------- RRG25 ... 199€ -5% = 189€ x 2 = 378€ Shipping Cost 2 x 50€ = 100€ - 20€ = 80€ (40€ per seat) ---------------------------------------------------------- TOTAL 458€ (229€ per seat) Rinoseat G25 ... 3 seats and shipment to same address ---------------------------------------------------------- RRG25 ... 199€ -6% = 187€ x 3 = 561€ Shipping Cost 3 x 50€ = 150€ - 40€ = 110€ (36€ per seat) ---------------------------------------------------------- TOTAL 671€ (223€ per seat) So a bit of a discount, but nothing massive. Will keep this going for a few weeks and see if anyone else wants to take it up ![]()

| Mr Royston, I believe you're interested in this now? ![]() Only downside I can think of is the lacklustre € exchange rate we're getting at the mo. Maybe we need to organise a G25 group buy too ![]()

| I definitely want a G25 edition now Xav. I need to win the Gran Turismo Academy and get free motorsport training!!! ![]() How does this GB work for any one else that's interested? Are you gonna act as point of contact with the European bloke? It's very good of you to do so Xav. |

| I can do. But I'll need to check things out once I know exactly how many. If we go for three seats, i.e. a third person comes in, then discount goes up to 6% so unless someone else comes along pretty quickly, I don't think it's worth waiting for the extra 1%. Also, TBH, it would need to be either someone I know or someone who pays me up front as I don't want to be stuck with them. I guess I'd have them delivered to my address and then I'd forward them on. I guess it would be an extra £5-10 for passing it on. Of course, pickup is possible and if there's a common meet we go to, I'll bring it / them along ![]() I'll have to see how to pay the chap - whether I do a UK bank transfer or pay him from my euro account in France. I'll drop him a message and see what he says. As far as payment goes, would a bank transfer be OK for you? BTW, I'm not sourcing a G25 too! They're available online for around £150. But you're welcome to come round to my place and see what it's like on a 2.5m picture ![]()

| No i already have the G25 goodness, i just need an approprate throne to dominate the world from! Xav could you ask the guy if he'd forward one of the seats to my home address when he ships them? I'll PM you if necessary. And a bank transfer would be fine with me. |

| OK. I sent him another email. Just found out they're also doing the seats entirely in black and not black/red. Any preference for you? I'd be going for the all black version. Another nice customer service touch: they've offered several shifter attachment jobbies. You can obviously have one for left and right hand side of the seat. They also do a "low" one which puts the box near your knee like a normal car and a high one so it's closer to a steering wheel more like a sequential one. If you can have several, I'd suppose you'd want the options? ![]()

I am after a racing cockpit for my Logitech G25 and GT5 Prologue and have been looking around, and the Rinoseat keeps coming up and i must say i like the sound of this seat, so how are you finding it ? what are the pros and ,is it more sturdy than it looks ? and is it comfortable ? | My girlfriends brother made this last week, we had a right bash yesterday. An old seat from a mini and some old steels tubing. Seat is fully adjustable on the original rails. No cost to him, just his great welding skills. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
