If they really are that cheap in CZ , could one of the english speaking Czech guys that posts on here buy a box full and post them over?

Sorry Ade, I had read the sticky (hence the disclaimer), but you are right, it should have a deadline.

I'm leaving this open till the 13th of January (another week) as by then I should have an idea if I need 10 or 50

Initial contact with company has proved fruitful, but I haven't found any suitable packaging yet. If anyone knows of some boxes that are registration plate sized, please let me know.

This group buy is going to go ahead, it is just a matter of finding out how many to order (I will order more to cater for the late comers).

For sending them from you to us, it would probably be easier to see if you can find reg plate sized jiffy bags. I don't think boxes are necessary. If it were me I would probably use one layer of bubble round them, then that tough brown parcel paper, and brown tape. I reckon that would be OK for them.

That's actually a very good suggestion Jason

Brown paper can't be that expensive, and neither bubblewrap. It's not the weight, the size is just awkward long...

I bought some number plates online for my last car and they came via first class post in a jiffy bag with bubble wrap on them , so it is a realistic possibility

I can't find any jiffy bags as big as registration plates though? My dubmeister plates came in a cardboard box, but the closest I can find are golfclub sized. Bubblewrap and brown paper is so far leading, although I'm not looking forward wrapping everything up
