Not bad, included a detour to my brothers on the way up. At least we now know you can swap a normal dashpod for maxidot with relatively little trouble. Oh, and I found the missing screw that you replaced.

Oh well you've got a spare now as I replaced it with another one.

I'll wait for the eBay advert now, one dashpod, slightly used average mileage etc etc

It sounds like any fears about the replacing standard dashpod with MaxiDot are unfounded based on Manny's experience.

What is the latest status on the ones for us TFSi folk? Do I understand correctly that you are planning to bring these back when you travel to CZ shortly?

I'm sorry I can't offer any better explanation than that, I still have the money in my bank for the ones that I'm not sure he has yet and I'm at the mercy of the supply chain.
