| Right chaps, I've been speaking to Jabba Sport and they would like to sort us out with a GB on the above. There are a following options which are as follows. (1) Sinter Friction Paddle and pressure plate rated upto 510nm (374lb/ft): Supplied £363.00 Fitted £574.50 @ 4 hours labour* Fitted £627.50 @ 5 hours labour* (2) Organic Friction Disc and pressure plate rated to 350lb/ft (will confirm this shortyly): Supplied £465.00 Fitted £676.50 @ 4 hours labour* Fitted £729.50 @ 5 hours labour* *Labour charge varies due to age and mileage of vehicle. Now this is the even better bit, Jabba will tweak their customers current remap free of charge to take advantage of the new clutch. There should be an extra 25lbft torque between 1.8k to 3k rpm. Not to mention the main advantage that this clutch will allow you to make the most of what you already have! If you choose to have the clutch fitted without a current re-map Jabba will give you a 10% discount on a custom remap £382.50 (instead of the £425) I'm working with Jabba to get you Octavia vRS boys n girls a deal on a upgraded clutch will update you asap. The usual retail price is: (1) £427.99 inc VAT plus fitting (2) £557.19 inc VAT plus fitting The target on this is 10 people. This is for any FWD PD130 with a 6 speed box (i.e. Seat Ibiza 130TDi, skoda Octavia 130TDi) if in doubt if it will fit your car then please PM me.

| The clutch is made by sach. The 130PD octavia with 6 speedbox will be the same as the fabia's. The Octavia RS can be catered for if anyone is interested in this (prices and specs to follow). I've got just the basic details at the moment but should have some confirmed prices and specs very soon. If in any doubt if your car is/isn't cover then just drop me a PM.

| Sorry to be pedantic, but is option 1 guaranteed to 376lb/ft ? I know they had issues before but that was some time ago and there may have been developments since then. I am certainly interested if that is the case. Cheers Derek

| derek, That is what sach have rated them to (well 510nm which works out to about 376lb/ft). The paddle plate isn't too harsh (i.e. it's not on/off like some). Just to add the clutch it's self will not give you 376lb/ft but allow with further mods to possibly reach that amount of torque. For the fabby owners out there wanting to gain big power, this would be an ideal starting point, even though it will not add any power to your car it will allow a re-mapper to get the most out of your re-map.

| Is it correct that, although the sintered clutch can handle more torque than the organic one, it does not last as long??

| Jon, I will try and find out for you. nick did say that even though it's a paddle type it's not on/off like most on the market it's very progressive (I think that was the word )Been informed it will last just as long as the organic one, the main difference is the organic one has more of an OME feel to it.

| this late in the evening I'm guessing it's down to the fact that the organic one gives the nearest feel to the standard clutch.

| Right I've just got back from Jabba Sport. I've tested the paddle clutch on it's very good indeed. Slightly heavier than the standard one but it more a makes up for it in feeling and responce. You have even more feel than the standard one, gone is the spongy feel. If you've got a remapped fabia then you will want this! Pictures of the paddle clutch ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Sounds good. I think I'll go for the sintered paddle clutch & pressure plate then. And free tweak! Don't mind it being slighty heavier, as I'm the only one that drives my car anyway!
