Had a chat with Brian & Nick @ GTI International. This GB will run untill we reach the required number, so there is no closing date. However, we do need more people to sign up. It's a cracking deal - he told me how the clutches are @ retail price & the discount for this GB is fantastic!

It's a great price - I've already got an uprated clutch & pressure plate so won't be signing up but it would have saved me a fair bit

The usual retail price is:

(1) £427.99 inc VAT plus fitting
(2) £557.19 inc VAT plus fitting

1. JonTDI
2. Peanutz
3. yellowcupra
4. MikeB
5. Snoopie

If we can get another 4 people I will take the 10th place to get this through for you guys.

If anyone with a Fabia vRS/Ibiza PD130/Polo PD130 or Octavia PD130 is interested then put your name down.

It makes alot of difference in the feel on the clutch and there is no more issues of a slipping clutch.

I've had mine done at Jabba.... couldn't wait any longer, sorry!

I did say that I was part of the group buy, so it shouldn't effect the list, unfortunately I didn't get the discount that you'll get)

There's no clutch slip any more, which is great. It's quite a snappy little number, but I'm getting used to it, it engages much sharper than the standard (fairly obviously, I suppose)

That Jabba place is a dangerous place to go to though...... I went in for a new clutch and came away with a clutch, anti roll bar, new dampers, Eibach springs and an empty wallet!

The car's a hoot to drive now .... Thanks to everyone at Jabbasport.

Did you go for the Sintered one or the Organic one?

The Organic one..... I'd hate to think how sharp the Sintered one would be!!

I felt the non organic one was fine, or maybe it just suited what I'm used to for a clutch. Maybe it might be easier once it has bedded in?

I know what you mean about Jabba being dangrous, Nick showed me so many nice bits........good job SWSBO has control of my wallet really lol.

The new clutch is just fine now. I think it was just going from a really soft (and slightly burnt) standard one, to a nice fresh Sachs job I noticed a huge difference.. after a few hours you get used to it completely.

So pleased I did it though!!!

Any chances of this group buy going ahead in the near future?

I really need a new clutch! I just spoke to Jabbasport and they said they would be willing to do us a price if there was only five of us willing to go ahead. Sorry to step on your toes here Mike. I really have to get a clutch either way.
