Default Autoleads stereo mute

I'm looking to wire my 6310i carkit into the stereo ideally without chopping the loom around. I've searched these pages and google and have found that Autoleads do a car mute kit that is a simple plug-in affair which takes care of the power supply AND the muting of the radio.
Has anyone out there used one (part number PC6-050b) and is it any good?

I've got one and it worked great with the Clarion in my previous car but has stopped working the phone mute since it was transferred onto the Symphony in my new one
