changed the HU and speakers in the octy at the weekend but like a n00b i forgot to take the CD's out of the changer before disconnecting the OE HU, now is there a manual way of ejecting the cartridge or do i have to reconnect the OE HU to get power back to the unit ???

its not a big issue if i have, its a 5 minute job really just i'd rather not if you know what i mean...

Yes, there is a manual way, but it involves a large screwdriver and possibly a new CD changer...

Find someone with a standard one. Plug your changer into their boot.

I gather your dealer has some nice ones that may be worth looking at, particularly in the boot department

If you have a suitable power supply / battery you can stuff 12V on the positive wire (red IIRC) and 0V on the earth wire (brown IIRC) to power the changer up.
