Default Could be a dumb question...

But how do you take the flip out key apart?

I dropped it on the ground yesterday and now it wont lock back. I've tried prising it apart with a screwdriver but don't want to force it in case I completely knacker it.

Any links to a guide would be appreciated, couldn't find any when I tried searching.

Cheers,

Matt

which bit need fixing?

it pulls in half length ways first of all, then the battery/button end splits in half but the key end doesn't come apart.

It's the blade end that'll need fixing as the lock mechanism to keep the blade closed has stopped working.

I'm guessing from what you said that I won't be able to get inside at the blade open/close workings

buy a new one and get it cut then i expect. obviously the flip bit comes apart as it had to go together but its a question of getting it apart without destroying it?

Cheers guys, didn't really want to buy a new one if I could fix it.

May take it to a dealer and see what they can do.
