Hi,
Maximum Depth is 55mm or 2.25 inches, but be aware the door card slopes inwards at the bottom , I would estimate a realistic value of 45mm or 1.83 inches

Infinity reference 6010cs go straight in and have a depth of 53mm. These are a massive improvement over the standard speakers but do take a bit more power to drive them. At only £44 they're a bargain.

My Rainbows are 65mm depth and they fitted with only minor moddification to the door with a dremmel. You have to remove the corner of the window rail mount.I removed the rubber magnet covers aswell.

I've no idea about the fit of these or any knowledge of the brand but the sensitivity of 89db is very low. Most audio places sugested at least 90 db to me. The Infinitys are either 92 or 93db and that makes them more efficient. The infinities will be louder on say volume level 12 than the MB QUART speakers and in comparason to the standard speakers the infinities need to be driven much harder anyway. Also the RMS power of the Infinities is 90 watts compared to 50 of the MB's. However that's not really an issue if you plan to run from the headunit alone.
Plus they diffinetly fit and the tweeter just slot unto the factory housing - not many will!
