| For the past two days i have been trying to find a way to wire in my amplifier on my octy vrs, running the audio leads + switch live through to the boot was easy but i cant get the live wire through from the battery, i dont want to drill any holes in my car so the only way i could think of was to run it underneath the car and through a rubber in the boot. would this be ok or does the wire need to be inside? any help would be great Thanx |

| There's a nice grommit behind the glove box...you can thread it through here, and run it down under the carpet/plastic trim and into the boot. Pretty easy to do, just takes a bit off fiddling. Thread here: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3066 has more details... Rob. |

| As the link above says really. You need to open the bonnet and lift up the wiper tray. Theres a rubber bung behind the pollen filter that you can pass a 4 gauge wire through which will come out behind the glovebox.

| If you look under the dash above the pedals there is a +VE busbar that is fed straight from the battery, there are several bolts on the bar for multiple wire connections, this is perfect for a ring crimp to attach to one. Thats how I wired my active sub.
