| I am quite impressed by the Symphony CD/Radio system in the Furby and was wondering if there was a way of connecting an MP3 player to it without me having to go fumbling behind the headunit. I understand there is some kind of "transmitter" that you can connect to an MP3 which the car radio picks up. Anyone had any experience of these? Recommendations? And what are they called? Also is there something similar for making a mobile phone hands free? Sorry for all the questions, but modern electrickery confounds me a bit ![]()

| FM transmitters. All naff. HTH ![]() Most adapters just plug into the back of the headunit (cd changer socket). Not very difficult and certainly worth it for the sound quality |

| you can get adapters for cassettes. As for handfree from a phone, you'll be looking at a parrot (or similar product) or something built into a new HU. |

| I've got a griffin iPod FM transmitter and I agree with *tim*, they are naff. You can hear your music but I get lots of crackle and hiss as well ! Something hard wired would be far superior, which leads me to my question - do Skoda or any of the ice companys do a nice simple add on interface kit for an iPod for the symphony cd/radio in my fabia vrs ? |
